Trek Overview

Khopra Danda Trekking is one of the newly opened trekking routes in the Annapurna region of Nepal. This beautiful trekking trail connects with the Annapurna Base Camp route and separates from the main trail at Tadapani toward Khopra Ridge. The trek is known for its peaceful trails, stunning Himalayan views, and authentic local culture.

During the trek, you walk through dense rhododendron forests, Himalayan bamboo forests, and scenic mountain landscapes. The trail offers magnificent panoramic views of the Himalayas including Mount Dhaulagiri, Annapurna I, Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, Lamjung Himal, and Nilgiri.

This trekking route is still less crowded compared to other popular treks in the Annapurna region. It is perfect for travelers who want to explore a quieter and more natural trekking experience. The trek also passes through beautiful villages such as Ghandruk and offers a visit to Ghorepani Poon Hill, where trekkers can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic sunrise view over the Himalayan range.

Khopra Danda Trek is also known as a community-based trekking route that supports local communities and sustainable tourism in the Annapurna region.
